Life is game theory and experience ain’t cheap. People bang their heads against the wall their entire lives, it’s only when something clicks or dies that anything changes. Experience can run down her leg, and it often does, but it can quicken into something profound, something meaningful, something that’s new and shakes the foundation of the church where you happen to pray. Sometimes though, this quickening can shake the very foundations of society. Whether you want to admit it or not, this is what we’re all praying for – that something else better comes along and propels us into the next stage of enlightenment.
