The more you disassociate, the more you see the tendrils of materialism in people’s lives. When you surround yourself with possessions, they become your life, they invade your consciousness, they become you, inseparable from the man or woman. Under all that weight is a human, you just have to peel back the layers to expose what’s underneath.
This is an interesting time, it’s easy to let go, to let the hubris in because wealth is so readily available. We’re standing on the shoulders of giants, which means that we’re highly leveraged. To truly experience freedom you must rely on yourself alone. Otherwise, you’re just a slave to prescribed thought and emotion.
